Basic SR3 Operations

All users of the Repository must be registered with the SR3.  The Registration Form sets out the terms and conditions under which the requestor or depositor will accept and utilize a reagent. Frequently used terms in the SR3 operations include "depositor" and "requestor".  Depositors are those investigators who are willing to provide reagents to the Repository, and the requestors are those who will use them.

Depositors also need to provide two documents for their reagents:  1) an SR3 Reagent Deposit Form, and 2) a Reagent Information Form.  The deposit form serves as a simple material exchange transfer agreement that sets out the conditions for receipt of the reagent by the SR3, and the conditions for transfer of the reagent to requestors.  The Reagent Information Form provides detailed information and references as to the origin, preparation, and use of the reagent.

To order any reagent, please submit a Reagent Request Form.  If you intend to develop a commercial product, please also submit the Acknowledgement of Commercial Rights Form.
