Dorelle Engel has a strong scientific and entrepreneurial background, having owned and run three successful scientific companies, including serving as director of a nationally recognized specialty reference laboratory. She is a Professor at Montgomery College as well as an Adjunct at American University. Ms. Engel received her M.S. degree from Johns Hopkins University with a concentration in cell biology and a B.S. degree in Biology from Rochester Institute of Technology and Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has written several scientific articles. Ms. Engel also actively consults with biotechnology organizations in the metro area, particularly in the area of regulatory compliance.
